Sunday was Marty Grantz day at the old ballyard. Then some kid up and spoiled it by being the 6th millionth fan for the Sky Sox.
When I first saw the jersey with 6 MILLIONTH
on the back I thought it said, "MILLION - 6" as a salute to Lee Majors
and the Six Million Dollar Man and that it was the coolest thing ever!
But then I saw the 'TH' and the air kind of came out of my balloon and I knew
it wasn't the coolest thing ever and that the person wearing it was not a 6 million dollar man, but a boy, and that all of this was raining on Mr. Grantz's big day and that it was hot out and that kind of sucked. Anyways, on to Marty!

Marty has been the Sky Sox official scorer since forever. His work station in the press box has been turned into a shrine to all thing great and baseball:
